The 45-foot ceilings and wall of windows in the historic Seattle brick building at 5018 Ohio Avenue South once housed a fashion photo studio, metal producer, tandoori oven factory, and even a robotics shop.
Minutes from downtown Seattle, The Brickhouse was an experimental pilot location that let us test our modules and begin building community from 2015-2018.
The Brickhouse featured:

Beyond location #1 in SoDo, every additional MODICA location will take its surroundings, history, and potential into account, influencing the particulars of layout, design, service offerings and events.
The Brickhouse was formally closed in March 2018 at the conclusion of our lease term, but will soon rise again at a new location in Seattle. Stay tuned!
